    Dataran Merdeka (Merdeka Square)
    A well known historical landmark in Malaysia. When Malaysia’s independence was declared, the Malaysian flag was first raised here. Feel the majestic aura and spirit of independence at the Independence Day festival which is held on August 31st. Get there in 15 minutes by foot, or take the LRT from the Sultan Ismail station and hop off at the Masjid Jamek station.
    Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (Jalan TAR)
    Named after our first Yang di-Pertuan Agong, this colourful stretch of road is filled to the brim with eateries and shopping arcades. It comes alive every Saturday night from 5pm to 10pm where it’s transformed into a night market. Here, a wide assortment of goods are sold at affordable prices.     For both shopaholics and coffee-sipping night owls, Bukit Bintang is one of the hippest streets in the city.     Aquaria KLCC is the first commercial aquarium in Kuala Lumpur and a wonderful place to spend the school holidays with the family.This RM60 million aquarium featuring some 5,000 aquatic and marine animal exhibits of over 150 different species from Malaysia and around the world.
